Conceal Carry Class

7:30PM – 9:00PM

Pete Georgiades of Pennsylvania Firearms Development Corporation will be giving a lecture on the new gun laws for Pa. this is open to the public on Feb 10 2012 at 7:30pm. Rod Building Seminar 

February 25, 2012 

9:00 AM approximately 2 1/2 hours

This is an introduction seminar for those who would like to try building fishing rods. Basic equipment and techniques will be demonstrated as well as information will be provided for those who would like to try the hobby.

Intro to Trap Shooting 

Wednesday March 14, 2012 

6:30PM to 9:30

This is an introduction to Trap shooting for men and women. The class includes a safety session, fundamentals, and use of the Dry Fire System with live fire at the trap ranges

Gun Care and Cleaning 

March 18, 2012 

11:00AM

This is a class for individuals who own a firearm and would like to have a better idea of how to care and clean the firearm safely. The class will include hands-on demonstration of cleaning of rifles, shotguns, and handguns and use and purpose of cleaning tools and solvents, etc.

Tim Hartzel is coordinating class and preregistration is required.

Competitive Shooting Demonstration 

March 31, 2012 

9:00AM to 12:00

An introduction demonstration to competitive shooting disciplines including Trap Shooting, Cowboy Action Shooting, Practical Shooting, Metallic Cartridge Black Powder, Muzzle Loading, and Archery. Competitive shooters experienced in each discipline will explain their game, the rules, how to become involved, where to compete, equipment needed, and answer questions. If you have ever wanted to know a little more about sanctioned competitive shooting, this class will give a broad overview of 6 games.

Intro to Trap League 

Thursday evenings in April - May (9 Thursdays) 

This league will be run for a period of two months for those who are beginners at trap. Scores will be tracked for trophies to be awarded in Women's, Men's, and Youth Classes.
